The session emphasizes practical, low-prep practices that align with brain-based learning and differentiated instruction.

• Define active engagement and understand its impact on learning outcomes.
• Explore the difference between authentic engagement, strategic compliance, ritual compliance, retreatism and rebellion
• Experience and analyze at least 5 engagement practices.
• Create an action plan to integrate engagement techniques into lessons.
